I'm thrilled to share that I've been awarded a scholarship by Latinas In Cyber to pursue the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate on Coursera! This opportunity marks a significant step in my journey toward a career in cybersecurity.

As a Latina and a woman, entering the cybersecurity field is both exhilarating and challenging. Women are underrepresented in this sector, comprising only about 20-25% of the global cybersecurity workforce. In Europe, the numbers are even lower, with women representing less than 20% of cybersecurity professionals . In France, a 2022 study revealed that only 14% of students in cybersecurity programs were women. These statistics highlight the need for more inclusive initiatives.
